Member benefits

Our members include all types of healthcare organisations providing and commissioning NHS services in England. We carry out a number of functions on behalf of our members and provide a wide range of member products and services.

Providing a voice for healthcare leaders: influencing and representing

We work to influence key decisions and national policy developments on behalf of our members:

  • representing members' views to Government, parliament and national stakeholders
  • providing a strong voice for healthcare leaders on issues of shared concern
  • ensuring an autonomous voice for distinct parts of the healthcare system
  • providing opportunities to engage directly with policy-makers and key influencers.

We help our members to make sense of an increasingly fluid and diverse healthcare system and keep abreast of the complex policy agenda:

  • delivering high-quality analysis and insight into national healthcare policy
  • providing regular and timely briefings to summarise policy initiatives
  • publishing detailed reports to assess the impact of policy on the planning, commissioning and delivery of system-wide services
