The Governors' Development Programme is entering its third year of operation. Delivered in parntership with the FT Governros Association, this programme brings together FT governors to both learn and share ideas and experiences.
The Supporting Governors toolkit on this website provides information for FT teams to use in their induction and training programmes for governors.
In 2010 the FTN has commissioned research into the role and operation of staff governors and a pilot study on the demography of foundation members. These studies form part of a programme of work on the governors and the foundation trust accountability landscape.
