The Department of Health have published two documents of interest to the mental health community:
- A Practical Guide to Preparing for Mental Health PbR, which sets out ten actions that can be taken locally.
- A Clustering Booklet containing the assessment tool (currently under evaluation) and the twenty-one clusters devised by the Care Pathways and Packages Project. It is time-limited as work continues across the NHS to refine and validate both the assessment and the clusters. The Department of Health aim to publish a revised version in December 2009 for use in 2010/11.
