What does the SDO Network offer NHS organisations?
The SDO Network aims to provide a spectrum of services customised to meet the needs of senior, middle and new NHS managers, which will support their organisations to develop leading edge services.
The Network provides a safe place for managers to work and reflect with their peers and academics on the best ways of using research knowledge to improve the services they manage.

How to join
For more information on the services the network provides and how to join download the SDO Network membership brochure and find out more about the benefits of joining. Membership of the SDO Network is free and requires that the Chief Executive or Chair of the NHS Trust signs the membership application form signalling their commitment to engage in the use of research to improve health services and to get involved in the work of the SDO Network.
About the SDO Network
This Network is funded by the Service Delivery and Organisation Programme which is part of the National Institute for Health Research and is managed by the NHS Confederation. This allows the network to forge strong ties between management and research and put its members in the driving seat. The NHS Confederation also runs a complementary Health Services Research Network for health service researchers to help them connect with NHS management.
