BME leadership forum

The BME leadership forum was founded in 2003 to help ensure that national health services are meeting the needs of black and minority ethnic (BME) communities.

The BME leadership forum aims to:

  • increase the opportunities for people from BME backgrounds to become influential in the NHS
  • improve the way the NHS responds to the needs of BME communities
  • champion increased diversity and promote best practice within all levels of the NHS and wider healthcare system.

Man smilingThe forum provides its members with a strong collective voice and a platform to engage with policy makers and key opinion formers from across the healthcare sector.

All networking events help to support the development, promotion and recruitment of BME talent within the system and spread best practice across the wider healthcare community.
