Steve Shrubb joined the NHS 30 years ago as a domestic/nursing assistant. He then went on to train as a nurse before training as a cognitive-behavioural therapist. Steve has worked clinically in primary care and neuropsychiatry before going into management.
He has been chief executive of two mental health trusts and has been lead director in the National Institute of Mental Health in England and director of the North East, Yorkshire and Humber Development centre. |
