The Mental Health Network annual conference and exhibition 2017 will take place on Thursday 16 March at The King’s Fund in central London.

This event will take place as the NHS approaches one of its toughest financial year’s yet and amidst the process of major transformation required to deliver care in accordance with the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health and Future in Mind.

As ever our conference aims to support over 100 senior mental health leaders in their work by providing policy insight, examples of best practice and practical advice which they can take back to their organisations. This event also offers the chance to network and the space to discuss the key issues with fellow mental health leaders.

Programme

Our programme will provide a host of expert speakers exploring topics like NHS finances, the transformation agenda, integration and devolution. I am pleased to confirm that Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP will be joining us on stage as a keynote speaker to address many of these pressing issues as well as Claire Murdoch, National Mental Health Director, NHS England, who will explore the extent to which people with mental health problems are being supported by the transformation agenda. We are also delighted to announce the addition of Professor Martin Knapp to our programme who has kindly agreed to lead a session health economics.
