With just under a month to go until the UK’s premier gathering of senior health and care leaders, the countdown to Confed17 has officially begun!

Exploring six key themes – digital, integration, leadership, money, transformation and workforce  – the NHS Confederation's flagship conference will give leaders a chance to delve deeper into the practicalities of transforming care across the country.

Taking place just a week after the general election, the two-day event will be the first opportunity to hear some of the detail behind the new government's plans for the health service.

Keynote speeches from the Secretary of State for Health and the chief executives of NHS England and NHS Improvement will illuminate the national policy direction and directives requiring action at local level.

And a main stage debut from the NHS Confederation’s new chief executive, Niall Dickson, will explore how the organisation will support its members rise to the challenges ahead.

See who else will be on the main stage exploring everything from Next steps to the new government, to the impact of Brexit.

Emerging solutions

This year’s conference and exhibition, back at the ACC in Liverpool and now spread over two days (14 and 15 June), will showcase a range of emerging solutions and new ways of working.

Featuring more than 30 breakout sessions, it will provide a unique space for cross-sector discussions and knowledge-sharing on promising local solutions and strategies.

The popular Member Showcase, back again this year, will spotlight a range of initiatives moving the needle on a range of issues.

And with over 1,000 senior leaders expected from across the NHS, local government, independent and voluntary sectors and beyond, unrivalled networking opportunities abound.

A host of key NHS suppliers and partners, including well-known names and innovative new organisations, will also showcase their latest products and services in the event’s exhibition halls.
