Digital ways of working have become business as usual for many staff, patients and service users, but if not done well, this presents an increased risk of exclusion and exacerbation of health inequalities.

During this virtual event, you will hear from a panel of thought leaders who will share their experiences of tackling digital exclusion and user centred design. The panel will explore the role of  system leaders in supporting and enabling the design of better, more inclusive digital services that meet the needs of their populations. The session will:

  • Provide insights from digital inclusion and user centred design experts on what actions system leaders can take.
  • Share examples and benefits of these approaches in the health and care sector and beyond.
  • Explore how ICS leaders can assure themselves on the designing and implementation of inclusive digital services.

This event is a part of the Digital ICS programme, which offers free and bespoke development sessions for ICS and ICB leaders covering topics such as designing inclusive services, board assurance and digital strategy.
