In this webinar, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICS and Frimley ICS will share their experience and mutual learning in developing a fairer way to fund general practice. They discuss what it may take for a better system to replace the current national GP funding model that has long been recognised as needing reform, describing:

  • How the current Carr-Hill national funding formula can be significantly improved upon
  • How two ICSs have successfully developed and rolled out fairer funding systems
  • The case for a new national formula for fairer funding for practices across England
  • The learning from implementation including affordability and supplementary benefits.
