Professional development and international exchange opportunities
International young executive leaders programme
The International Hospital Federation Young Executive Leader Programme offers young healthcare managers from the UK each year the opportunity to join an international cohort of young executive leaders to discuss current trends, challenges and opportunities in healthcare leadership with international peers and thought leaders, and work together on a project that they will share at the World Hospitals Congress.
Applications for 2020 are now closed.
HOPE European Exchange Programme
The NHS Confederation sits on the HOPE Board and promotes the annual HOPE European Exchange programme. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for:
- Healthcare managers or clinicians with at least three years’ experience in a healthcare management role to understand the challenges of a healthcare system outside the UK.
- NHS Trust/Foundation Trusts or Clinical Commissioning Groups interested in sharing your expertise with international colleagues and engaging with them to share best practice from their home countries.
This short video provides an introduction to the Exchange programme, with more details on the programme in this article.
