Improving interface working – communications toolkit
Applications are now closed for our ten-month interface improvement programme, starting on 29 April 2024.
The programme aims to support primary and secondary care organisations to deliver solutions-focused interface working in local areas.
This page contains everything you need to promote applying to the programme, including social media and newsletter assets and copy for your social media and email communications.
Why is the programme needed?
As pressures and demands continue to increase for both primary and secondary care, there is a need for teams to work together on shared issues and improve the overall interface between the two sectors. Nationally, figures suggest six million appointments a year, worth more than £200 million, could be saved by tackling interface issues.
What will participants learn?
Working as part of a dedicated cohort of colleagues, those successful in joining the programme will be supported to co-create and design innovative approaches to overcome challenges around interface working between primary and secondary care. This will be done primarily through a series of virtual learning sessions and webinars.
How much does it cost?
Teams applying to be part of the initial collaborative will be able to apply for free, while subsequent cohorts and those taking place next year will be subject to a charge.
