35 health and care organisations have been successful in their application and secured a place on the 2024/25 Diversity in Health and Care Partners Programme.

Led by NHS Employers and the NHS Confederation, the programme runs annually and is a comprehensive organisational development programme, helping organisations advance equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.

It provides access to leading industry experts, good practice, guidance, resources and networking opportunities. It is designed around and reflects the ambitions and requirements of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and NHS EDI improvement plan.

Paul Deemer, head of diversity and inclusion, NHS Employers said,

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome 35 health and social care organisations onto the programme from September 2024. At a time when the service is under immense pressure, these organisations have stepped up and stepped forward to take the lead by putting equity, diversity and inclusion front and centre of their plans for the next year. We look forward to working with and alongside these organisations to help them navigate their way and create organisational cultures which are open, welcoming and safe.”

The participating organisations represent a diverse range of sectors within health and care, including NHS trusts, professional bodies, private companies, and charitable organisations

The programme commences in September, with a virtual masterclass for board members on systemic cultural change.
