NHS Communicate Conference and Awards

Announcing the launched the NHS Communicate conference and awards event with partners NHS Providers and The Centre for Health Communications Research

13 May 2021

Today (13 May), working in partnership with NHS Providers and The Centre for Health Communications Research, we have launched the NHS Communicate Conference and Awards, which will be taking place Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 September 2021.

NHS Communicate is a brand new event and awards specifically designed for communicators in the health and care sector at a time where these roles have never been more important.

With the COVID-19 pandemic presenting an unprecedented challenge for the sector, NHS communicators demonstrated extraordinary resilience, adaptability and innovation. This is why we are bringing together communications leaders from across the NHS to share the latest insight with peers, highlight why communications and engagement is a key strategic function and celebrate your successes over the last year.

Our NHS Communicate Conference is specifically designed for senior-level communications professionals from NHS trusts, foundation trusts, clinical commissioning groups, integrated care systems, primary care networks and GP federations, and voluntary providers of NHS-funded care.

Bookings for the conference will open soon, so be sure to save the date in your calendar and follow @NHSCommunicate or #NHSCommunicate to be the first to hear when tickets are released.

We want to hear about your amazing work

The NHS Communicate Awards are designed to celebrate your achievements, innovation and creativity as you provided support and guidance for your colleagues, patients and communities during the pandemic and beyond.

The awards will be judged by an esteemed panel giving you a chance to promote your hard work over the last year to the rest of the sector and get together with peers to celebrate.

From viral campaigns, internal communication or data-driven projects, we want to hear about the great work you've done since March 2020.

The awards are completely free to enter and you can enter as many categories as you like.

Awards entry submission closes on Wednesday 30 June and the shortlisted entries will be announced at the end of July.
