NHS Confederation welcomes Dr Farah Jameel as new BMA GP committee chair
Our director of primary care, Ruth Rankine, welcomes the new chair of the BMA's GP Committee
Responding to the news that the BMA's GP committee has elected a new chair, Ruth Rankine, director of primary care at the NHS Confederation, said:
“We would like to welcome the election of Dr Farah Jameel as chair of the BMA’s GP committee. We look forward to working closely with Farah and her team to ensure that primary care gets the support it needs, continues to have general practice at its heart, and has a strong future as part of the new system architecture.”
“We would also like to recognise the valuable contribution of Dr Richard Vautrey and his team who we have liaised closely with regularly over the last two and a half years.”
