Adam Doyle
Adam Doyle is the Chief Executive Officer for the Sussex Integrated Care Board (NHS Sussex), having worked within the Sussex system for the last six years. Adam was previously Chief Executive Officer for the three Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) - NHS Brighton and Hove CCG, NHS East Sussex CCG and NHS West Sussex CCG - and was also the leader of the Integrated Care System until the legislative changes to how systems work came into effect on 1 July 2022. Adam has been credited with the significant turnaround of the CCGs in Sussex, having taken the previous seven CCGs in Sussex from an inadequate to good position, and has led the reshaping of the Sussex ICS to be one of the most improved systems in the country. Over this time, Adam has also led the local NHS response to COVID-19.
Adam started his NHS career as a physiotherapist and has been Chief Executive Officer of NHS Merton CCG and Director of Community Services and Private Care at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Adam is a member of Sciana: The Health Leaders Network, and is also a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow.
