Annie Joyce

Annie is a recent graduate of Dublin City University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Society. She recently participated in the Washington Ireland Program, where she worked as a legislative intern at Platinum Advisors, focusing on healthcare advocacy in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining NICON, Annie gained experience in human resources at Arachas and supported educational inclusivity as a DCU Access Ambassador.

Annie is passionate about creating positive change through her volunteer work at Barretstown, as well as her fundraising efforts for prominent charities like The Irish Cancer Society and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. Her research on the experiences of midwives working with women from different cultural backgrounds reflects her commitment to improving healthcare practices and addressing health inequalities.
