Anoop Dhesi

Anoop Dhesi was elected as East of England geographical constituency representative on the NHSCC Board in 2018. Anoop is a practicing GP at Staithe Surgery in Stalham, where he has been a Partner since 1993. He has been involved in local NHS development since 1998 as former chair of Broadland and North Norfolk Primary Care Groups, and serving on Norfolk Primary Care Trust Board in a variety of roles.

During the last 6 years Anoop has been leading on increasing the involvement of general practices in planning healthcare in North Norfolk, initially through Practice Based Commissioning, as chair of North Norfolk CCG, and in his current role as the chair of NHS Norfolk and Waveney CCG.
