Colin Dennis

After gaining a BSc and MA from the universities of Exeter and Canterbury Colin pursued a highly successful commercial career, firstly in the financial sector and latterly in the Aviation sector.

From 2005, as CEO, he led a large and complex aviation group delivering highly specialised operations for the UK Government, defence organisations and international customers.

Following a period of diversification and growth Colin led an MBO of the group, becoming the major shareholder and Executive Chairman until 2015 when he and took early retirement following a phased share sale.

Over the last 7 years, Colin has held a number of non-executive appointments in the NHS, Social Housing and Commercial sectors, including serving for 7 years as Independent Chair of a large adult social care provider supporting the NHS in delivering community, residential and home based services. Colin currently is also Group Chair of one of the UK largest social housing associations.
