Dr Aftab Arif

Aftab is a graduate from The University of Birmingham and has been a GP Principal at Hall Green Health since 2014. Aspiring to be a GP from a young age, Aftab was inspired to become a GP from a young age, thanks to his family and coupled with the desire to serve the community in he grew up in.

Aftab is also the clinical lead for respiratory medicine, having obtained a Masters in this discipline in 2014. Enthusiastic about teaching, he has been an undergraduate trainer for third and fifth year medical students at The University of Birmingham. He is also a trainer for GP trainees on the South VTS, and support foundation year two doctors on placement from University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an NHS England appraiser for over five years.
