Dr Jo Sauvage
Jo trained and worked in London has been a GP in Old Street since 1999.
She has worked as a system leader within the London region for many years and is Chief Medical Officer of the North Central London Integrated Care Board and Clinical Director of the NHS London Sustainability Network.
She is committed to working in partnership, both within her local system and across the region to ensure important priorities are tackled including factors that drive inequalities in health and wellbeing outcomes for London communities, with the impact of poor air quality being one.
Jo is the Co-Chair of the London Region Air Quality Delivery Group, which through the work of the London Air Quality Programme Office, has drawn from the widest collaboration of partners across the region. Through the development of alerts, raising awareness amongst clinicians of the impact of poor air quality on health and via the regional training hubs, development of educational initiatives to help clinicians understand what to say to their patients have been developed.
