Dr Joe McManners
Joe has been a GP Partner at the Manor Surgery in Oxford since 2006. The surgery is a large, highly rated, thriving GP Practice. Over this time, he has led pioneering proactive care work for older and vulnerable patients and an developed an innovative clinical triage system. He is co-clinical director of his Primary Care Network and has set up and chaired a collaboration of Oxford City Primary Care Networks and lead for Oxford enhanced primary care virtual ward. He is a member of the BOB ICB GP leadership group.
He has had 10 years’ experience as a Oxford City Councillor, with roles as executive member for housing. He was involved in healthcare commissioning and senior leadership and was Clinical Chair of Oxfordshire CCG for four years, then a NHS England Clinical Advisor in the ICS team.
