Katie Bramall-Stainer

Dr Katie Bramall-Stainer was elected chair of GPC England in August 2023 having previously chaired the U.K. Conference of LMCs. Katie has been Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire LMC since 2019. Qualifying from UCL in 2003, Katie chaired the BMA medical students conference and was elected to JDC the same year where she was a negotiator during the MTAS crisis. Katie led GP Trainees in 2007/8 and has been elected annually onto GPC ever since. Katie relocated from London to Hertford to join a partnership in 2010. She then found her ikigai when she was recruited to Londonwide LMCs as a medical director in 2016, joining Cambs LMC in 2018. Katie continues to practise as a GP locally to where she lives with her husband, two young sons, and two tabby cats.
