Dr Mona Sidhu
Dr Mona Sidhu is the Primary Care Medical Director for Black Country ICB and has been a practicing GP in Wolverhampton for the past 24 years. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and General Practice. Additionally, she holds diplomas in Sexual Health, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology, as well as a Master's degree in Diabetes.
Dr Sidhu serves as an honorary senior lecturer at Keele University and fulfills various roles, including GP trainer, Mentor, and Training Program Director. She has extensive experience as a Clinical lead for diabetes, end-of-life care, and cancer at both the place and system levels. She has also held positions as a Clinical Director and Divisional Medical Director for the Royal Wolverhampton Trust.
Passionate about delivering patient-centered primary care, which is the cornerstone of the NHS, Dr. Sidhu strives to break down the barriers between primary, secondary, and community care. She also has a keen interest in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. Dr. Sidhu actively collaborates with public health and faith groups in her community to reduce health inequalities and ensure equitable access while promoting cancer screening uptake and improving outcomes.
