Dr Vish Ratnasuriya

Vish is a GP at Lordswood in Birmingham, which strives for continuity of care via personal lists and team-based care. 

In 2015, Vish helped create Our Health Partnership and was elected chair. Now all 47 practices serving 350,000 patients are CQC good/outstanding.

To Vish, OHP’s decentralised super partnership allows diversity in general practice needed by different communities to combine with the benefits of scale.

OHP also supports 10 PCNs across Birmingham and Shropshire serving c450,000 patients. 

Vish is interested in shaping the future for practices, PCNs, and ICSs. He is an NHS Assembly member, and was awarded an MBE in 2018 for services to general practice.
