Fiona Adamson

Chief Executive, Hartlepool & Stockton Health GP Federation

Fiona joined the Hartlepool & Stockton Health GP Federation at the end of 2015 to deliver their first large project – and enjoyed it so much that she never left! She became chief executive in 2017 after helping to launch an Integrated Urgent Care Service and also seven-day access to general practice. 

Her background is in leadership roles in commercial and retail banking across England, before leaving the rat race and setting up a consultancy business back up North. She is the chair of the Tees Valley Primary Care Training Hub Board and has a particular interest in engagement, people development and workforce.
