Frances Igbonwoke
"Frances has been supporting the implementation of national mental health policy since the launch of the first two waiting time standards in mental health (IAPT and subsequently EIP).
Prior to this, she held wide ranging roles at regional and local levels in commissioner and provider environments in the areas of service improvement and transformation, performance and assurance. This is in addition to a background as a pharmacist in several generalist and specialist roles within primary and secondary care in over 20 years of experience working in the NHS. With a thirst for knowledge that continually enhances her practice, in the last 2 years, she has completed the Health Policy MSc at Imperial College London and an accredited Executive coaching course, in addition to previous post graduate studies.
Frances has an interest in strategy, implementation, systems thinking, and health inequalities and is driven by making a difference that reaches those that are often least heard in society. She enjoys a variety of music genres, long walks in areas of outstanding beauty and has ambitions to become proficient in a musical instrument."
