Janet Thornley

Janet has worked in general practice since 1995, firstly as a General Practice Nurse then Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Currently, she is the Strategic Primary Care Nurse Lead for Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board where her focus is on recruitment, retention, and career development of nurses. 

Janet is also involved in organisational development and culture initiatives at the ICB, working closely with colleagues across primary care networks to look at creative solutions to improve health outcomes for residents and at the same time improve workforce wellbeing and  job satisfaction.
