Julia Griffith

Business Director, Bath and North East Somerset Enhanced Medical Services (BEMS)

Julia has been the business director of BEMS since 2013. She joined following an extensive career in the NHS. Starting her career at Wiltshire Health Authority Primary Care Directorate in 1995 and progressing to her first Directorate position in 2005 at B&NES PCT.

She has been a prominent figure for over 20 years in Primary Care in B&NES and Wiltshire localities. She brings vast experience of GP, Dental and Ophthalmology contracting, and commissioned and services such as the GP Out of Hours, MIU and has led teams for Health Visiting and District Nursing. With her passion for primary care Julia joined BEMS to help lead the organisation, supporting GP practices in B&NES through the challenging times ahead.
