Julie Das-Thompson
She leads NHSCC’s positioning at a national level with policy makers, stakeholders and with member Clinical Commissioning Groups on key commissioning issues. She is also part of the transition to develop the NHS Confederation’s ICS Network.
Prior to joining NHSCC, Julie worked for the NHS Confederation’s PCT Network, where she delivered its policy work programme and managed its transition to NHSCC. She has a solid background in evidence-based policy having worked at the Health Foundation as an Evaluation and Research manager. She was responsible for designing and commissioning innovative evaluations into the impact of the Foundation’s quality improvement programmes in the NHS. Julie’s policy work focused on the implementation of self-management support programmes, clinical networks and whole system approaches to patient safety. Julie also has expertise in policy analysis, peer to peer learning, research and organisational development in the NHS and Local Government from her previous roles in two recognised consultancies in London – The Tavistock Institute and Shared Intelligence.
