Ken Taylor

Ken has over 20 years’ experience of working at executive director, board and ambassadorial levels across all sectors within regeneration to fulfil people’s health, social, economic and environmental needs. This has included, for example, being the chair of Wakefield and District Housing, a housing association of over 30,000 homes, and Executive Director of Groundwork Wakefield and North Yorkshire.

As a service user at the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for ten years he has benefitted greatly from their services. He is now a Member of the Trust, chairs the Trust’s Linked Charities Governance Committee and is a proactive volunteer within the Strategic Directorate and Recovery College. All of this has given him close contact with the development of the Trust, the challenges of the sector and the needs of service users.
