Mark Hackett

Chief Executive, Swansea Bay University Health Board

Swansea Bay University Health Board were pleased to welcome Mr Mark Hackett as CEO on 1st January 2021. Mark has brought with him more than 20 years’ experience as an NHS Trust Chief Executive, and experience in system leadership roles in the NHS in England, and recently, healthcare consultancy.

This depth of experience in leading large and complex healthcare organisations has made him very well placed to take Swansea Bay University Health Board forward.

He started his NHS career as a graduate management trainee in 1984 with a role as a junior manager in West Glamorgan in the late 1980s at the Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
