Helen Stokes-Lampard
Professor Dame Helen Stokes-Lampard is a GP in Lichfield and Professor of GP Education at the University of Birmingham.
She has held several prestigious positions in the medical field, most notably serving as the Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges from 2020 to 2023 and Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners from 2016 to 2019.
Helen sits on several national advisory groups and boards including the Expert panel advising the National Frontier AI Taskforce. She is also a trustee at Macmillan Cancer Support and founding Chair of the National Academy for Social Prescribing, where she is actively involved in shaping the direction of social prescribing — establishing an academic foundation for the movement, and forming alliances to increase its impact.
