Richard Samuel

Richard is the leader of  the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight sustainability and transformation plan footprint. Prior to this he was the chief officer of both NHS Fareham and Gosport CCG and NHS South Eastern Hampshire CCG.

Before being chief officer for the CCGs, he was Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Affairs at Hampshire Primary Care Trust. He also served as Divisional General Manager for the Wessex Renal and Transplant Service, as Assistant Chief Executive for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Strategic Health Authority, and as Deputy Chief Executive for North Hampshire and Blackwater Valley and Hart PCTs.
