Sabina Hafesji

Co-chair and co-founder of the NHS Muslim Women’s Network

Sabina has worked in health and care for around two decades, which includes working at Care Quality Commission (and its predecessor organisations) for fifteen years and a year at NHS Confederation as a senior policy advisor.

She joined NHS England in September 2020 as a provider policy senior manager and is currently working as a senior programme manager in the children and young people’s mental health team.

Sabina has a degree in BSc Psychology and she completed her MSc in Health Policy at Imperial College London in 2017, gaining a merit grade overall and a distinction for her dissertation, which considered if CQC inspections encourage improvement in specialist child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in London.
