Sara Baines

Sara is the wellness and inequalities lead for Erewash Primary Care Network in Derbyshire. She has been working in community orientated roles for 10 years and is passionate about understanding what is important to people.

Sara strongly believes that communities and people are the key to improved health and wellbeing. Sara is also an occupational therapist and has over 20 years' experience working in mental health services, has a public health background and was involved in exploring new models of care within an NHS vanguard. 

Her current work is focused on working with people and communities to reduce health inequalities by co-producing services and approaches such as community healthy heart checks and developing lifestyle approaches within primary care.
