
Sarah Brennan
"Sarah started her career in 1998 as a Registered Mental Health Nurse after completing an Advanced Diploma in Nursing at Sheffield University.
Between 2004 and 2009 Sarah held Service Manager roles which included managing Adult, Older Adult Community Mental Health services and Early Intervention Services.
During the period of 2009 to 2015 Sarah held several senior operational roles across a number of mental health specialties with lead responsibilities including mental health urgent care, transformation and improvement programmes.
Before joining NHSE in 2017, as a Clinical Mental Health Improvement Advisor, Sarah held the position of Assistant Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice and had a lead role in delivering safer staffing and reducing restrictive intervention programmes as well as holding wider portfolio responsibilities for patient experience and quality. Sarah possesses expertise in Leadership, governance and operational delivery.
Sarah is a Level 7 qualified coach and mentor. Additionally, Sarah holds a first-class Honours Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and an MSc in Healthcare Leadership."
