
Shaun Griffiths
"Shaun has over 18 years’ experience in the field of Mental Health care as a registered Mental Nurse across a number of areas including adult care, urgent care and service development.
Prior to joining the team in 2021 Shaun worked largely within adult Mental Health services initially working in inpatient service specifically within Intensive care then moving on to working within one of the initial street triage pilots helping to shape the service from the ground up.
He has extensive experience within urgent care services in the area of clinical risk assessment and management having studied at masters level in this area. Shaun also has a PGcert in Reducing Restrictive Interventions and uses the skills and experience developed whist gaining this qualification to support providers to deliver high quality care in the least restrictive way.
Shaun has also worked within in service development and redevelopment developing innovations tackle crisis in metal health using demand & capacity as well as an intuitive digital solution to predict mental health crisis in patients. During this program Shaun also gained experience in project management and is a qualified Prince 2 practitioner.
As well as developing this service Shaun was also responsible for redeveloping and evolving a patient flow service within his role as service manager. This and previous roles within bed management and patient flow services has led to Shaun having extensive experience in patient flow services and reducing the use of OOA placements an area that he continues to have a great passion for."
