The Welsh NHS Confederation has joined together with key partners with a shared interest in the principles of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 to solidify our joint commitment to helping services across Wales achieve the changes required for the successful implementation of the Act.

The Act aims to gives people a stronger voice and more control over the support they need to remove barriers to their wellbeing. It focuses on earlier intervention; increasing preventative services within the community and helping people maintain their independence.
