Response to the DIT consultation on trade with the Gulf Cooperation Council

In responding to this consultation, we have sought feedback from our NHS member organisations regarding their experiences (successful and unsuccessful) of collaboration with organisations in the six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). We have also exchanged views with Government departments and agencies.
Our response outlines our members' priorities in future free trade agreements (FTAs), the key areas of interest for NHS organisations in any future/amended trade deal with the Gulf States and why these matter, and offers our recommendations for inclusion in future FTAs.
