Specialist grade appointment guidance : a template for collating evidence against the capabilities framework
This guidance has been developed to support employers transitioning doctors from the Associate Specialist grade into the Specialist grade.
It provides:
- additional clarity for employers on the transition process for Associate Specialists moving to the specialist grade
- an easy-to-use template, along with accompanying guidance, on how doctors can evidence that they meet the criteria in the capabilities framework.
