Digital transformation is a fundamental enabler in achieving these aims. Leaders of integrated care boards (ICBs) must therefore have an understanding of how to harness new digital opportunities.
NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, in partnership with Public Digital are launching a new programme aimed at building board level understanding of the potential and implications of the digital agenda at system level and increasing the confidence and capability of boards to harness the opportunities it provides. This work is being supported by Health Education England and NHS England.
