About the event

On Thursday 15 February, the Health and Care Women Leaders Network held its third virtual fireside chat, from 5 – 6.15pm.

The chat was led by network chair, Samantha Allen and deputy chair Tracie Jolliff, in conversation with Dame Lesley Regan, Women’s Health Ambassador for England; and Emma Challans-Rasool, founder and chair of Proud2bOps and director at NHS Horizons. Together they discussed the Women’s Health Strategy, how it can be implemented in organisations and overcoming potential barriers.

The conversation focused on their personal experience, and practical aspects such as tackling challenging behaviours, preventive healthcare, accessibility and inclusivity within healthcare organisations. On the day, delegates had the opportunity to hear clear insights and actionable advice on effectively implementing the Women's Health Strategy and enhancing inclusivity across their organisation.
