Ilse Bosch

Ilse has been part of the NHS Confederation policy directorate since October 2019. As deputy director of policy, she leads the strategic policy team, programme managing the NHS Confederation's cross-organisational policy work. She initially joined the team as Brexit policy consultant in the organisation's international team, where she delivered an extensive influencing programme representing the interests of the NHS in the EU exit process.

Before her time at the NHS Confederation, Ilse was a senior policy adviser in the Cabinet Office where she delivered cross-government projects, including on health matters. Prior to that, Ilse worked in management consulting, including for Deloitte, where she worked with various health sector organisations on major transformation projects, including around delivering integrated care, frontline transformation of services and systems-wide population health.
