Integrated care communications toolkit
Our integrated care communications toolkit has been developed to support our members to communicate all the changes taking place in the health and care system, to your various audiences.
The integration of health and care services aims to improve patient outcomes, population health and reduce health inequalities. The NHS has been working alongside local councils and other partners to join up services for many years, and ICSs are the culmination of that work.
The toolkit contains several core elements that you can use on your own websites and as part of your own overall communications strategy, including links to our FAQ page, a jargon buster and useful case studies.
We have created personalised materials for:
- the public – produced in conjunction with Healthwatch England
- elected members and officers of councils – produced in conjunction with the Local Government Association
- non-executive directors.
We have also included a number of links to other resources that you might find useful when communicating about integrated care systems. This toolkit will be updated as needed. If there is anything you feel should be included please email us.
